Flame (infrared) sensor is a kind of sensor that is particularly sensitive to flame. There is a PN section with infrared light sensitive characteristics inside the infrared receiving tube, which belongs to photodiode, but it only reacts to infrared light. When there is no infrared light, the photosensitive tube does not turn on. When there is infrared light, the photosensitive tube turns on to form photocurrent, and the current increases with the enhancement of the intensity of infrared light in a certain range. It is widely used in remote control receivers of various household appliances, such as audio, color TV, air conditioner, VCD, DVD and video recorder. It can well receive the infrared light signal with the wavelength of 940nm emitted by the infrared LED, but can not receive the light of other wavelengths, so it ensures the accuracy and sensitivity of the reception.
