The soil humidity sensor is to monitor the soil humidity. The soil moisture sensor that embeds its hardware control circuit in the crop root monitors the soil moisture in the root. The sensor transmits the "too high humidity" and "too low humidity" signals to the main controller through the encoder through the detection circuit, and the main controller determines the control state.
Working principle of three wire soil moisture sensor: when the probe of soil moisture sensor is suspended, the base of triode is in open circuit state, and the cut-off output of triode is 0; When inserted into the soil, due to the different moisture content in the soil, the resistance value of the soil is different. The base of the triode provides the conduction current with varying size. The conduction current from the collector to the emitter of the triode is controlled by the base and converted into voltage after the pull-down resistance of the emitter.
